I love deep stacked poker due to all of the subtelties and creativity it allows. I posted this hand on 2p2...any opinions on wtf to do on river?

i think villian leads turn with any sets or AT; therefore i really think your ahead of everything but A2cc or A5cc. value river and hope for call from some A or JJ
Is this the type of player to get sticky with AK?
Regardless, I bet / call the river there. I like your thought of 1/3 pot (which, FWIW, is a buy in at your stakes). There just aren't too many 2 pair combos that hit him while holding the Ace - particularly since you have 2 of the card removing cards to the board (only 2 Tens & 2 Nines left in the deck).
I would expect a turn lead from his monsters like Ac5c / Ac2c, but is he really 3betting these hands?
Again, bet smallish and call a smallish raise.
Yes for those that didn't see the end of the thread on 2p2, I bet $850 on river and he tank folded. I think I am only really value betting against JTcc, QTcc, Axcc and maybe JJ. Against that range I think a smaller VB is in order. He later claimed to have folded AQcc. I think I get looked up by $500ish
Odd that he calls the turn, but folds when he hits his river. Moreover, odd that he 3bets to boot!
Weird hand - weirdly played by villain, though not exactly traditional by you either...
@PM Yeah I think his play in this hand is decidedly meh. I mean if he is calling turn only to play a flush then that is pretty bad. Limp/3b AQ seems pretty spew this deep. Maybe against a fish it works (who knows maybe my table image was fishy...lol)
Some don't like my line pre. I don't mind it in pos this deep. I think my hand plays pretty easy post flop and I effectively have the button.
I lack the balls to do something like that as deep as you are. However, here are a few notes as to why I wouldn't believe AQcc:
He's l/r 4 betting you from OOP. We check through the flop & he c/calls turn. If he hits his A on the river, he has to believe he's good unless he has you on AK, TT. It just doesnt make sense for him to all of a sudden believe you to be on AK when he 4bets you and you flat. He's never putting you on T9 here - that's agreed, right? So he's got you on a fair range of TT+... perhaps 99+... by your flats. I don't know; you lead the turn and lead the river, showing no fear of the rivered Ace - perhaps its possible that he puts you on a set, but there's just so much that he has you beat - and believes he has you beat pre (or else he wouldn't be 4betting).
Sorry for the stream of consciousness... I hope my thoughts make some semblance of sense...
Yeah I mean AQcc is a part of his range but I'm not sure I believe him either. I think he is more likely to have a hand like JTcc or QTcc or just simply KQcc or QJ and was simply hollywooding the river. Who knows but can't imagine anyone lying at the tables :P
